I'm still working on it I promise


So... it's been awhile.

Last time I posted, I said I was taking a break from working on Dimenshift to start a new prototype. You can probably figure out that that prototype is ImptactiLauncher TD. I've since resumed work on Dimenshift, only to take a break to make Snake³ (something I actually finished!) only to resume Dimenshift and now... Well, I've had another game idea. (Shocker)

But first, an update on what's going on with DImenshift:

You might be inclined to think i haven't made much progress on Dimenshift, but I'm actually fairly pleased with what progress I've made. The game is mostly down to small improvements here and there, and some more testing. I'm aiming for release sometime this summer (hopefully sooner but no promises).

You might have noticed that I took down the playable build from itch.io. That was mainly because I haven't made a new build in a long time, and I didn't feel that the last build I uploaded to itch was really representative of the game's current state. There have been a lot of improvements.

Currently, progress has stagnated a bit as I try  to figure out what to do about making cover art and a trailer. I want to get a Steam page setup as soon as I can, but I don't feel like it'd do much good without those. And I'm not a very skilled artist...

In the mean time...

I'll be posting more devlogs covering some of the improvements I've already made, hopefully making them more interesting with some facy GIFs and all.

Oh yeah, and that new game idea:

Chess, but with disguises. I'm not sure how long I'll work on this one before I resume Dimenshift again, but I'll probably at least get some plaable form of it.
